Update Pay Items

The Pay Item editor provides a single screen from which you can

  • interactively modify any Pay Item value for any employee in any company, and

  • view the resulting live payslip

Select the company and employee first. Ensure the Current Pay Items tab is selected. Then modify the values of any Pay Items.

Click Update to save edits and view the resulting live payslip. Move the live payslip anywhere by dragging its title bar or resize it from any edge.

The Add From… tab allows you to add Pay Items from an existing Test employee. Setting up Test employees as Template employees will make it quicker to add the same Pay Items to similar starters.

Click Cancel after you have finished to return to the main menu.

Other ways to edit Pay Items are:

  • You can quickly access this editor for a single employee by clicking Update Pay Items… after you update an employee

  • Use Payroll Debbie to Add changes to Pay Items in future pay runs.
